One guy got so disgusted with automated consumer help phone numbers that he has started a website with a list for the secret tricks to go directly to a human and bypass the "enter 1 for sales, 2 for more sales, 3 for elevator music, 4 for instructions in lowerelbowdian-ese" dance we all have gone through.
ΕΎ "The frustration is all too familiar: Call a company's customer service line, and chances are you'll have a hard time reaching a human."..more at article link (interesting) and the site is paulenglish.com, (add /ivr to go to the cheats directly).
